Fees applicable to the Offices of the Chief Surveyor -General, Surveyors -General and Chief Directorate: National Geospatial Information have been set down.
The rural development and land reform department published the fees in Government Gazette 42417 in terms of the Land Survey Act.
As regards the Offices of the Chief Surveyor –General and the Surveyors –General, each new diagram submitted for approval will cost R400 while each draft sectional plan will carry a charge of R450.
R170 will be charged for the amendment of a diagram, general plan or sectional plan while the certification of diagrams will cost R45.
The preparation of certificates will cost R260 per hour while R10 will be charged for the supply of prints A4 size.
In terms of the scale of fees to be charged in the Chief Directorate: National Geospatial Information, R21.50 will be charged for paper prints of maps of the 1: 10 000 Orthophoto national map series while aeronautical edition maps (ICAO symbols) will cost R24.00.
The fees apply 30 days after the date of publication.
