South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession
The South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP) has set new fees for property valuers.
The revised fees were published in Government Gazette 37522.
The SACPVP aims to facilitate well-educated and suitably trained practitioners in the property valuers profession.
The fees are determined in terms of the Property Valuers Profession Act of 2000.
A professional valuer must now pay R1600 to register while a candidate valuer will have to pay R800.
In order to participate in the admission examination, professional valuers will have to pay R1980.
The new set of fees applies from 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2014.
Registration will be cancelled if no payment is received by 30 September 2014.
