National Bargaining Council for Hairdressing Collective Agreement Amended

The employment and labour department has published a correction notice on the National Bargaining Council for the Hairdressing, Cosmetology, Beauty and Skincare Industry’s Collective Agreement.

The correction notice, published in Government Gazette 43633, replaces the English version of the extension to non-parties of the consolidated collective agreement published in June 2020.

Reference to clause 2.1 has been removed.

Other notices include:


• Gazette 43628 – Bargaining Council for the Furniture Manufacturing Industry of the Western Cape: extension to non-parties of the main collective amending agreement – with effect from the second Monday after publication until 31 August 2020;
• Gazette 43633 – Bargaining Council for the Contract Cleaning Services Industry (Kwazulu-Natal): extension of period of operation of the main collective agreement – from 31 August 2020 until 28 February 2021;
• Gazette 43633 – notice of intention to cancel the registration of a trade union – National Trade Union Congress – objections within 60 days of the date of publication; and
• Gazette 43633 – notice of intention to cancel the registration of various employers’ organisations – objections within 60 days of the date of publication.
