Engineering Council Adjusts Fees for 2019

Engineering Council (ECSA) fees for 2019 have been set down.

The adjusted fees were published in Government Gazette 42391.

Application fees for candidate categories within one year of obtaining a qualification stands at R815.01.

Applications later than one year from the date of obtaining a qualification will be charged R2 034.01.

R10.174.01 is the fee for foreign qualification assessment and professional registration while applicants not registered in any of the candidate categories will pay R8 140 for professional and registered categories.

Those applying for registration on the ECSA portions of the International Registers that are already registered with ECSA will pay a once-off fee of R4 070 with no annual fees.

Professional and registered categories with no exemption pay a R4 190 annual fee while retired persons pay R270.

Appeals will cost R8 000 and will be refunded if successful.

The revised fees apply from 1 April 2019 until 31 March 2020.
