Directions to combat Covid-19 in home affairs have been amended.
The home affairs department published the amended Directions in Government Gazette 46260 in terms of the Disaster Management Act.
A new paragraph 16 on the opening and closure of some ports of entry is inserted.
All ports of entry at airports, except at Pilanesberg international airport, are opened with effect from the date of publication.
Annexure A contains the closed land ports of entry.
The amended Directions also stipulate that visitors, from either neighbouring countries or overseas, are allowed entry into South Africa subject to prescribed screening procedures.
The amended Directions came into effect on the date of publication.
