Customs and Excise Act Rules Amended

Customs and Excise Act Rules have been amended.

The South African Revenue Service published the amendments in Government Gazette 42621.

The amendment of Rules (DAR 186) was made in terms of Section 120 of the act.

A new form DA 1 on report inwards/outwards for ships is inserted.

The form provides detail, inter alia, on the ownership of ships, date and time of arrival, whether laden or in ballast and lists of containers.

Meanwhile, in Gazette 42622, the Financial Sector Conduct Authority has published proposed amendments to the JSE Listing Requirements for comment.

The draft amendments were drawn up in terms of the Financial Markets Act.

Comment is invited within 14 days of the date of publication of the notice.
