October 6, 2020

National Treasury

An interactive COVID-19 Procurement Data Dashboard has been published.

In a statement, national treasury points out that the Dashboard provides more details regarding previously published reports on COVID-19 procurement.

The Dashboard focuses on a summary of information submitted, how much was spent per item, total order amount received by the supplier, director names for suppliers and a list of all transaction submitted allowing downloading and further analysis.

According to treasury, the “dashboard provides information regarding the actual commodity purchased, the quantities and price per item”.

The data is to be regularly updated as and when organs of state provide reports.

Meanwhile, the South African Reserve Bank, in Government Gazette 43758, announced the appointment of Goldman Sachs International Bank Johannesburg Branch as an authorised dealer in foreign exchange.
